I do like American Eagle, but I dislike shopping at this store. So much so I now shop mostly online to avoid shopping here. The workers are either aloof or rude or both. Unfortunately, I purchased a sweater online that was too big. Online customer service said I can go into the store and easily exchange it. Sadly, sales associate, Ms. Tyiesha Hadeem had a different plans for me. The exchange did not go well. I was charged $50 for a reorder and was told I could not could not get a refund, only store credit for the sweater even tho I had a receipt. When she gave me my new receipt, it showed an $85 charge but no credit for the $35 returned sweater. When I pointed out the error, Ms. Hadeem , obviously annoyed by my presence, denied her mistake and refused to assist me further telling me I had been the one mistaken. I was out $85. Luckily online customer was able to assist in this matter and hopefully will be settled in a few days. So rejoice Ms.Hadeem. in a job well done! You have when less annoying customer to deal with.
I wish I could leave zero stars. I absolutely love shopping at AE, but going into this one in Bridgewater Commons really disappointed me. I came in early with my daughter. Not one other customer was in the store and the associate gave me and my 3 yo daughter dirty looks. It happened twice. I finally said "Good Morning"!! And she rolled her eyes. The customer service in this store is HORRIBLE and I will not spend my $ there EVER. The associates name is Ty, so she said as I had to ask before leaving that store. I just had to leave a review, so she knows she can't treat people like garbage. After all YOU are still working retail at your age honey. Have a great day!

I would have given this store 5 stars but for the rude male clerk I experienced on March 28. Store itself is large and well laid out. Clothing is kept in neat piles, and I observed store staff neatening up the displays even on a busy Saturday. The clerk who checked me out had an attitude, and was clearly annoyed when I asked to take something off the receipt because it didn't wind up being subject to the promotional and I didn't know that until it had been rung up. He also made a mistake a rung me up twice for an item, which I didn't catch until after leaving the store and checking my receipt (because I had a feeling something was off). Came back to correct, and again, more attitude. He's clearly in the wrong line of work. Thank you to Ty, one of the female clerks, for being so help in helping us to select clothes and for fixing the error on the sale.
I was in the AE store trying to purchase clothing. When I came to the register I looked for one of my coupons but did not have it. I told the woman at the front that I had the coupon code however. We asked multiple workers at the store as well if we could use the coupon code and they said yes. She then in a horrible attitude told me I couldn’t do that at all. When I tried searching for the coupon code again she rudely held my order and asked what I was waiting for and pushed me aside. I believe her name is Tyesha Hadeem. I’m never coming back to the Bridgewater Mall AE ever again.
