I visited the Sunglass hut store in the Bridgewater Commons mall in NJ on 10/4/15. The purpose of the visit was to exchange the sunglasses I had purchased on 09/29/2015. On my visit I learned that it was the worst shopping experience I had faced in my life. The store associate (Mariyam 524187) gave me the hardest time when I indicated I wanted to exchange the product. She interrogated me in the rudest possible way and questioned me in a manner which made me feel humiliated and insulted. It was an experience I would not wish for anyone to go through. When the conversation began with her, she said, that she can't take the product back and was being completely ignorant and impervious to the NO HASSLE/EXCHANGE POLICY of sunglass hut which was clearly stated on the backside of the receipt. When I explained to her that I changed my mind about the sunglasses and didn't think they were for me, she became very agitated and indicated that the exchange can't be done. Eventually she did exchange it, but was least helpful when it came to choosing the pair that I wanted and made me feel like I was indebted to her. Sunglass hut is a great store and I have made numerous purchases in the past at various sunglass hut stores, but this experience was the worst and I don't think I will ever visit the Bridgewater Sunglass Hut store again.
Awful. I will never buy anything here again. The ends of my $250 Ray Ban sunglasses disintegrated. I came back to the store and they said I had to deal with Ray Ban and I should go to their website. Went to the website and it says I should deal with the retailer. Went back and showed Sunglass Hut the webpage and they did not care. Sunglass Hut also insisted I only had a one year warranty. Ray Ban provides two years. The store then offered to sell me a new pair for 50% off claiming that is the only warranty they provide. Poor customer service. You are better off just buying on the internet. Makes no sense to buy locally-you get nothing.
